DLC Devil Trigger?!

I'm not going to disbelieve you, so, I'll take your word for it.

However, you're right about the fact that any changes to the skin would only be more expensive and would take up more time. If it wasn't more expensive, and if it didn't take up more time, then why didn't they do it?

This is why Shigeru Miyamoto wanted all the cutscenes in Ocarina of Time to be done using real time graphics. That way, if any changes needed to be made, he could make them in the middle of the scene, as opposed to having to leave the ''mistakes'' (things he would have wanted to change) there, as it would be in CG. That, or just start over.

It's also the reason why the level design in the Metroid Prime games were all done using ''blue rooms'' and ''wireframes'' before adding any art design to the world and characters. That way, things could be changed easily.

Makes me wonder as to why so many people would use CG in games in the first place. Vibrant colors? Cleaner presentation? Who knows?

I was hoping he would actually turn into a demon with the DLC outfit :( . Not a huge fan of the whole DT makes you look like old Dante >.>

I'm not a fan of DT period. I only use it briefly to try it out and see what Dante would be like in Demon form. I almost never use it anymore, after that. .

It makes you damn near invincible. The only time I find my self using it is on harder difficulties or for flashy boss finishers.

No, I meant I was never a fan of any of the DTs in any of the games. I tried them out merely for the sake of curiosity, nothing more.

I think DmC's DT was more or less a test in what combos you can do if all your opponents were in the air. A few combo vids have already shown what could happen in terms of style, so, I'm not entirely against it. It's something to watch the pros do once in a while, and that's all it'll ever be for me.

Thats what I meant as well haha. I do not even need DT in the new game though. I hate how it awkwardly throws people around XD.

I meant I used DT very little in the older games. With Nero your grabs on bosses were a TON stronger with DT. (Like catching the she viper during her rush attack while in angered state. You rode around and cut open her face XD)

Ouch. And people say that New Dante is brutal. I didn't use Devil Bringer Throw on all the bosses, so, I wouldn't know.

Oh, so that's what you meant. I see. Mea culpa. I'll be sure to double-check before replying from now on.

I never really saw a use for DT either unless it was to show off that you could perform combos with faster speed and maybe use some exclusive DT moves in your combos.

For example, there was this one time, where this guy used Multi-Lock (gunslinger) and Vortex (I forgot the name of that midair drill attack) to hold the enemy in the air, then drill him while he was still being held in place with the Artemis arrows -- all while blasting the ''Rock into the Future'' song in the background. Sadly, I can't find the vid, nowadays. :(

Well, I'm off. I'll see you later.

They are so under appreciated XD. To someone with great reflex time you can do some really cool ones that are hidden. Like catching Angel Credos spear and chucking it back at him. Or you can do an aerial Grab on Berial and then do a ground one.

My reflexes are crap. I can barely RG against Beowulf. Oh well.

But it's good to know that I can pull that off if I try hard enough. Opens up new gameplay possibilities and such.
