Did Dante ever smoke?

I don't remember to see Dante smoking in the DmC game or comic. I know that the cigarette thing are in some concept arts or in the reveal trailer but it was just that a reveal trailer with a scenario that at the end was changed (there was some ideas like playing with a young Dante for example)



So: Is there a scene from the actual DmC showing a Smoking Dante?

No. Whether it was due to backlash from the trailer, or a genuine change in design from the reveal trailer - At no point in the actual game does Dante smoke.

I vaguely remember Tameem acknowledging the discrepancy by saying that Dante had quit smoking cigarettes by the events of the game but I can't for the life of me find the quote.
