Devil Trigger of Dante and Vergil

By the way, what happens if you press BOTH L2 and R2 AT THE SAME TIME? What will the sword transform into?!
Probably nothing will happen. It will just pick one of the two weapons for you.

Addressing the picture. If that is Sparda, Dante and Vergil knew him and they knew Eva. So why does Dante say he never knew her? probably too young to remember i guess. Another thing, how old were they when their mom was killed and were they already adopted? i need to play thing game now, too many new questions

I suspect that that man and woman in the photo are adoptive parents. So, theoretically, something terrible happened to them and Dante and Vergil were separated. Vergil went to happy rich people home and Dante got screwed (possibly he ran away from whatever family he was placed with?)

The problem with that is Dante doesn't seem to remember Vergil, either. So if he's an amnesiac, those could be his blood parents and Dante just THINKS he lived all his life as an orphan.

Like you said, too many questions. Can't wait to see all this unfold.

Really???

I saw the pic and his hair was only bold on the top part and you could still see hair around the sides.

You can post a pic if you don't believe me.

But the hair he had on the side definitely wasn't white.

It just looks like he's bald in it, but that's probably because his face is shot out. I can see Vergil and I can see Dante; Dante's hair is black like his moms, and if Sparda does have his hair in that pic, then Vergil has his father's hair.

Also, I notice Dante's hair is more pure white when in DT, but Vergil's is a dule white color. However, as the game goes on, Dante's hair slowly becomes more and more white. For example in the gameplay of the Bob Barbas Boss

If you look at Dante's hair on the right side in the back, it's actually white

Maybe Vergil's natural color is blonde and Dante's is Black and neither of them have yet their demonic hair except in DT.
I would like to see Vergil's DT as an opposite to Dante's where everything stays at normal speed but Vergil becomes lightning fast, or is that the same thing?

Maybe there's a deeper reason as to why the father's hidden (adopted or not). You know who else is bald in this game...

I thought they might go the Mundus is the father thing, though I don't think that will be the case.
Poison specifically says "Son of Sparda" but maybe they'll be brothers or twins, keeping with the "one twin is always evil, the other is good" archetype if they decide to go with a twist in Vergils character also.

theyre DTs will probably be identical in power and what happens. appearance wise maybe Vergils blondish hair becomes ghost white and his coat becomes bright blue

perhaps but Vergil here does not seem inherently evil like in DMC3. he doesnt have the world revolve around him nor does he have an insatiable thirst for power. here he is a serious, calculating but pretty decent guy, sorta like a high ranking soldier. however you see subtle hints about the possibility of him turning when he is willing to sacrifice Kat after she is shot protecting them. a legitimate point. need of the many and whatnot. but still the speed he seemed to reach that decision is foreboding. if he DOES turn, itll be (hopefully) a complete arc and a lot of character development. and i dont mind that at all.

My guess for Virgils hair bein white from the get go is that he may have a higher affinity towards his devil powers that Dante does. Like he's just more naturally talented when using his demonic powers than his angels ones.

Perhaps the bald man in the picture is in fact Mundus...scratch that...the man Mundus is possessing(plus those 3 eye marks in the bald man..I mean Mundus's forehead could mean he is possessing him) didn't Vergil's bio said the demons killed his adoptive parents and drove his adoptive father insane or something or possessed him.
