The shadows were infinite and the only sound was the unending screams of the damned. The ground ran red with the blood of the unforgiven, human and demon alike. The Fourth Circle of Hell. In this darkness, a young man walked. he wore black and blue, from his coat to his boots. His eyes were a piercing blue, and messy white hair adorned his head. His arm was red with a golden light emanating from it.
Nero walked deeper into the darkness. His friend, his mentor was somewhere here in Hell. He just had to find him and escape from here.
Fiends suddenly appeared. Demons of all shapes and sizes. Nero grabbed the giant sword hanging on a strap of his custom made black and gold coat and drew it out, holding it in his left hand. In his right, he summoned his devil arm, Yamato. He gripped the two in a dual sword stance purely his own.
"Shall we dance?" he asked the minions, then grinned as they charged.
Slashing with Yamato, stabbing and hacking with Red Queen, Nero battled through them. He combined speed, accuracy and power into devastating blows. Nero blew through the lesser demons as if they were made of paper. After wiping through them, he came to a door.
"Well, might as well knock." Nero punched the frame with a blow strong enough to topple giants. But the door refused to budge.
"It's cursed. Not even my Masamune can cut it." Nero spun around. Behind him stood a man wearing a blue longcoat, blue pants, a dark blue shirt and blue tie, and brown knee high boots. He had the same eyes and hair as Nero, but his was swept back and neat. A katana hung at his side. Nero's right arm, the Devil Bringer, began to pulsate
"Dante? Is that you?" Nero asked. It had been ten years since he'd seen him after all.
The man laughed sadly. "No, I'm not Dante. For some strange reason I'd hoped you'd you'd recognize me. Your arm does."
Nero glanced at the Devil Bringer. It was pulsating more than when he first met Dante. "Who are you?" he asked, his eyes narrowing in suspicion.
"We even talked, when you first got that arm. But you haven't seen my face in...26 years is it? Time's a little hazy here." The man continued.
"I asked you who you are asshole!" Nero swung Red Queen, but it was blocked by the stranger's sword, drawn before Nero could even see it.
"Nero, my name is Vergil. I'm your father."
Let me know what you think and if I should continue!
