Dante's weapons

So many people (including myself) are under the assumption that due to changes in the development during devil may cry 4 that dante's weapons were given to nero's bosses (berial, frog guys, and echidna) instead of his own set of bosses (gilgamesh, pandora, lucifer) So im wondering what you guys speculate the original bosses for damte's weapons could have looked like. As well as what the weapons from the bosses we do fight should have been instead.

Example: i imagine lucifer would be something like a cross between Asura in awakened mode and a giant metal satan.

Judging by how the weapons looked, I know I would've hated Lucifer's design the most.

I somewhere heard its they way that those weapons suppose to be bosses for Dante instead, and probably all Nero bosses had their own weapons...
