Maybe Dante is trying to stop them from bringing Sparda back from the dead? Could he be thinking they have no right to bring a dead guy back like that.

Dante wants to be good guy.......besides, he know that Sparda has Ultimate powers but he dont want to use it.....only for the emergencies
