Dante and Vergil

Guess the only memory he has of his family is his father, Sparda. Bet he'll find mysteries about the angels in his journey. Of course if he tries to find Vergil and learns he is his brothers, he better have very important information for Dante to know.
 
It's nice to see everyponies theories are inferior to mine as usual

Something tells me Vergil will be somewhat like Manfred Von Karma, a perfectionist. This will lead to him thinking himself superior to Dante in every way possible, Vergil will be blonde and wear fine expensive clothing, a rapier or sword cane would fit him. and that is why they are at a sibling rivalry in this version, while new Dante is independent and prefers to be himself, new Vergil will only take perfect for an answer

But in a fight... if a 2nd... if Dante tries to give a scratch on Vergil. Verg' could go psycho or somethin' and feels that he finally found a real challenge and that he hasn't felt pain in years.
 
Vergil now appears and so much for the rapier added to Yamato. Oh well... give it to another warrior.

I don't think so, I think there will be a Vergil boss battle, but it will be more similar to the Lady boss battle from DMC3.
Dante and Vergil have a disagreement, it escalates, a boss battle ensues, and in the cutscene they kiss and make up :)
 
The big question is: Where do the angels stand? I'm still saying the angels are funding the Order and trust that Vergil will do their dirty work for them, and Dante will do Vergil's dirty work for him. It's a Classic food chain,
the angels' leader>Vergil>Dante(>Kat?) :shifty:

Haha. Than The Order will have a new name when Vergil left and Dante take over. Devil may Cry maybe?

i dont want Dante to fight Vergil in this game for any reason. i want Vergil to remain as Dantes friend brother and ally through out the game. and as a result we can get to know Vergil and *gasp* have him go through a story arc. so as we progress through the series we can see his slow decent into madness until the final confrontation that will have so much weight and depth to it black holes will look at it and say "damn"
