I picked DMC Rebellion. Knowing me, if I tried to use DmC Rebellion it would get stuck in between shapes and then next thing you know I just got whacked in the face with a chain whip thing.

Though Force Edge is still my favorite. <3!

Dante and Vergil reminds me of Inuyasha brothers:

Sessoumarou

His sword has a ressurecting power, and is related to underworld. (Vergil's sword can seals underworld of DMC).

Inuyasha

Heavy and destructive sword.

Also white hair and red clothes. Two brothers, one being kind and jokeful, other being "cold" and seeking power.

Yeah, about that. I've always found it stupid that Dante got this big badass two-handed sword with a unique design on it and then Vergil just gets a plain looking katana. And why a katana anyways? That's not very demonic. I don't mind the Japanese influence on Vergil's design and all, but at least make Yamato look cooler than just a plain katana. Oh, and why the name Yamato anyways? Wouldn't it make more sense to call it something to counter the name "Rebellion" such as "Judgement" or something alike?

I think its something like this Sparda going for a Japanese trip and killed one Japanese demon and got his weapon "Yamato" and in the end when he gave away all his awesome weapons to his apprentices and only yamato and rebellion was remaining and vergil also came late for his birthday party !

DmC's rebellion for me. I used to love huge, over the top broadswords, but now I prefer smaller, more manageable weapons. I think that the huge swords should stay with a certain type of character, where they are iconic:

And I'm obsessed with the exact opposite style now--the simplest. Yataghan swords are my new favorites. So again DmC's simple style ftw.

DmC's rebellion is so long that it makes NT's Dante seem short in my eyes.

Again Rebellion does not make him look high, not saying he's low though. But just argument that Rebellion in DmC isn't a short sword - it's pretty huge.

its definitely not a small sword. Just the way it is designed, its thinner and it has no guard, gives it a smaller appearance, especially compared to the original Rebellion.
Imagine if he still had the original rebellion, he would look rather tiny

Rebellion seems alot heavier than NT's Rebellion.

Lengthwise both seem the same.

Yea, the design for DmC rebellion doesn't even seem like its real steal, more like a forging of demonic and angelic powers, thats all shoved together into the sword. I can't wait to see the replica, because i think the handle is one of the best features about it.
As for Classic Rebellion, its just over all heavy. Its a very extreme sword( not to mention his guns) You definitely have to have some kind of super natural strength to wield that weapon.

DMC rebellion........just because it can't shapeshift does not mean its not powerful. its what you do with it that makes it effective lol.

Its strong but only if you're strong enough to use it otherwise carrying a broad and long sword isn't sensible Unless you're a demon or just grab one sword like credo

I'd suggest you just practice with yamato for a year
