Don't Let the Fall of America be Your Fall
I saw the rebellion sword of DmC. I think it's more organic of a sword from the way the hilt looks. The entire blade actually looks cool to me. DMC's rebellion was also awesome looking, and I loved how the rebellion had no purpose to the story of DMC, showing it's not the weapon, but the wielder. But I gotta say, I actually like DmC's version of rebellion for it's simplicity and it's ability to shape shift. I also wondered what would Yamato or force edge look like in the reboot too. But anyway, I still like DmC's version of rebellion.

What about you guys? which version do you prefer if demons attacked you?

DmC's rebellion or DMC's rebellion?

Also if NT did a reboot on Vergil's yamato, what would it look like?

A sword's nature is to slash a creature. Morphing into tentacles to grab a car to throw it at your enemy is...just waste of time.

Just use your energy - take a huge swing ---and crush and slash the enemy to the ground.

I choose the DmC sword as its got the power of shapeshifting which means i can make any weapon I want.

I want to see Yamato as the same but with some cool new features.

Force edge should stay the same.

LOL
i would choose DmC rebellion becaue there is no way in hell i could counter or have full control over DMC rebellion.
I also think the new "rebellion" looks pretty sweet. If i can remember correctly, rebellion has always been a morphing weapon, and it had minor changes durning the story in DMC. Its nice to see how crazy it can morph now.

When did it morph?

^ He said a sword's nature is to slash...not true if it's a rapier or even a shortsword....or longsword for that matter...those are all meant for stabbing

never used a scythe before, but its always been something i;ve looked forward to in DMC just because Dante from DI used it

A lot of games use scythes as weapons, though the only one I can think of off the top of my head is .hack//GU once you upgrade to the Flick Reaper class. They're basically like very long swords that specialize in long range and quick attacks.

yea, i've used the scythe in other games, but Dante.... drool.... i mean he's always been an expert at any weapon he's ever used, but all the weapons that he's used have all been, for the most part, made-up weapons that are impossible to ever use (for me that is) But why did Dante....ahem....DANTE never use a scythe? And now..... it is time...

Well, why not use a scythe? Scythes are actually very hard to use as a weapon, and this is coming from someone who has tried. You have to cut with the inside of the blade, or stab with the tip of the blade. Which means you'll have to make a lot of sweeping motions, and that requires a lot of skill. Plus, scythes were made as gardening tools, not weapons...

In DmC, you can see the sweeping movements a lot. But do all scythes have handles on them like the one Dante wields in DmC?

The handles on the shaft? Yes.

This is a picture of your garden-variety (see what I did there?) scythe.

Hoes can be just as dangerous as scythes if you know what you're doing. XD
HAHA
Since you choose a Scythe over a sword, are you going to be using the scythe over the sword in DmC, or will time tell?
It would be cool it you could give a angel/demonic priority over the rebellion.

I'm likely going to go for effectiveness over preference. Though I can tell I'm going to use the axe the least. I'm not fond of axes.

When the game comes out, I'll do an angel-only run and record it, how about that?
