Capcom confirmed sales figures for DmC

DmC was just suffering the wrath of stubborn fanboys who hated the game from day 1.
That vid you posted from the "New Looney Tunes" is actually a very apt comparison when dealing with this whole DmC debacle.

I remember watching it and thinking, "Whoa, this is exactly how the true fans acted."

In my opinion, the "Lola-having-no-personality-thing" is especially spot-on. It immediately made me think of certain other characters who were just power fantasies and were more or less just typical archetypes for the players to put themselves into.

Of course, most of the damage could have been avoided if DmC had DMC3's gameplay. I'm trying to see this from both sides.

The PR stuff I can take or leave. I hated Microsoft for telling offline players to get a 360, but I didn't constantly flame their boards just because of that, either.

don't kill me for saying this, but i feel the same way about trish. i lover her. and sure she's hot and has cool powers, but after DMC1 ends, what more is she than a bad ass biker, demon hunter chick? she has no purpose anymore. i feel as if lady and lucia have more character to them than her. hell, even patty has more character than trish. but that is just me. and kyrie. though she wasn't used as badass eye candy, she felt very weak as a character to me. like she was just there as a bland love interest to nero.
