Based on Platinum Games track record, I doubt it will be glitchy as DmC. Sure, there will be glitches in MGR no doubt but not as much like in DmC.

We will see.
To be fair, DmC never outright crashed on people. Which is what MGR did for people.

I think you're giving MGR/PG an awful lot of credit here.

True, it did crash in the demo at a specific moment when you activate Blade Mode against a Gekko. Hopefully Platinum Games will fix the crash.

To be fair, when you compare NTs and PGs track record, PG kinda wins in the long run.

Also the barrier breaching, massive clipping (getting stuck in architecture), and floating body glitches. Don't forget those. They're not perfect or immune to any faults. I'm glad they got their act together after Bayonetta PS3, which was a massive failure on their part, but their games still have glitches in them. They're just like any of developer.

Though to be honest, I feel there's this massive double standard going on here. Not singling you out here, of course, but with a lot of people I see who are disenfranchised. It seems these groups of hardcore gamers are flocking to MGR and PG because of what DMC is now. And in doing so, they're ready to eat up and defend MGR to infinity. Which is strange to see.

More unnecessary arguing. From my point of perspective, both games were created by people who worked their asses off to bring out a fun game. Is DmC that? Yes. Is MGR that? Most likely so.

If you want a few hack and slashes that eventually burn you out from fun, take a look at the Green Lantern and Thor video games.

DmC and MGR. These products are quality despite anything and deserve at least some degree of respect.

Slow down, I'm not belittling MGR or PG. I already have the game pre-ordered.

I'm just making an observation. That's all.

I tend not to direct my opinions to specific people. The relevant people would know what I'm talking about though.

Can we just calm down for a second? Let's consider things from a programming perspective. DmC, MGR, Bayonetta, contain THOUSANDS of lines of code. Fixing one glitch requires going through all that code and changing maybe one thing, but that one thing breaks another thing and so forth.

Glitches are always present. They're not meant to be frowned upon. I mean, JC'ing was a glitch in DMC3. Look how that turned out.

While the glitches are a cause for concern, Platinum Games have never personally disappointed me with their gameplay. If the glitch or bug isn't gamebreaking, I don't care much. While in DmC, there is perfect examples where the bosses AI have just stopped working altogether. I consider that to be a bigger problem. But yes, PG aren't perfect and so aren't their games but I have to disagree about Bayonetta being their "massive failure". It may have been not selling so well, it was still a great game.

Also for the record, I didn't bash on the glitches in the DmC demo since those were minor and not gamebreaking (maybe except for the flying one that is still in the main game)

Those who are flocking to MGR because of DmC are misguided idiots that hops on any bandwagoon.

While I admit, I'm a bit biased since I have been enjoying almost every PG game, I still consider myself objective enough to talk about the shortcomings of DmC.

There is some nice things that I think are neat im DmC but it haven't got what I am looking for in the long run.

This game doesn't really have glitches unless you induce them. Beaten the game about 6 times now and the only "glitch" I've ran into was (once) a hell knight got knocked off the ledge but was standing on a lower part of the cliff so I had to suicide/environmental him to get the kill.

Who the **** are you and why have you become buttmad over my comment? Are you the one yelling "I LOVE YOU BREA!!!!11111" in the comments?

Not really I just asked a simple question one things for sure you don't lack hatred lol don't worry I confirmed with my own fingers that this game is **** if that makes you feel better.^_^

Why can't all these wonderful glitches happen to me??????
I personally love glitches as long as they are not game breaking ones in the middle of a serious playthrough.

Sigh. I can only get the flying one sometimes....

I've had harpies freeze while falling. it looks so adorable!

and I'll never b able to do anything like that, I'm to slow..

I wrote an intentionally vague post. If you can't figure out where the hypocrisy lies and in whom, then you really should just move along.
You wrote an intentionally vague post and then you act like I'm in the wrong for misinterpreting it and asking for clarification?
