Bloody Palace

Since none of the reviews so far mentioned BP, I'm starting to think it might be released separately or with Vergil's Downfall. I mean, why have BP if you can't use Vergil too right? And since they're still polishing VD....it's very likely that might be the case. At least I hope it is. :/

Yeah I believe he missed the folder. I thought the first time that there was a dlc folder, but it makes no sense at all since, we see folders like "difficulty select screen" etc. Also, they found out a game mode named "MAX", maybe that's not important though.

So, Bloody Palace is all but confirmed then, right?
Fantastic.
Here's hoping it resembles Devil May Cry 3 more than Devil May Cry 4.

Maybe you get Bloody Palace after finishing all 21 secret missions? That would explain finishing the game and still not unlocking it.

I hope you're right.

A Devil May Cry with only a story mode, a gallery, and a poor training mode would be sad.

I really like the training mode and I was so glad when they announced it, but if I had the choice I'd never trade Bloody Palace for it :(

Wait so you're saying that they're doing something like that, cuz I remember they said the game's mostly for beginners and casuals (despite me enjoying it).

You sure, cuz the regular DMC3 was the same though without a training mode.

It was different times. Now, a lot of beat em all/Action games got an arena mode. Plus, it's always a shame when you remove an important feature added in a games's history. Especially when this game mode allowed to the game to be still played a few years later.

Sorry, I don't follow, something like what?
You said you think that they might have replaced a training mode over a Bloody Palace. That's what made me say that.

That's understandable. As for me though, I could honestly care less for a bloody palace mode since I'm an average gamer. I don't think we should create a bonfire and throw all our copies in just because of the Bloody Palace omission. If it's DLC, it's DLC. At least Capcom said there will be no Day-1 DLC.

Besides, the game has 41 missions total, plus the keys.

Not directly replaced, but if we don't get Bloody Palace, they may use it to make a point that "the game has enough content", and no one's disagreeing with that, we just want Bloody Palace.

So do I, but at the same time I would ignore it sometimes just like I was when I played the older games.
