Bloody Palace

Funny cause I hardly really use dodge in the demo. I'm using it now but back then, not really.
I use the angel dodge as much as possible, I love me some teleports (even the kinda lame ones), and the demon dodge every time I wouldn't be able to continue the combo after the angel dodge, like with that "blast" attack from the harpies (damn I gotta learn the names)

Same. I love Angel Dodge as well. Really for the style but also to get some breathing space if I need room or want to try something out. It's a pretty good dodge.

and I love the Nightcrawler "BAMF" thing.
"BAMF"

The training room is very welcome and I love this addition to the series, I really do, but if I had to choose, I'd take the Bloody Palace without thinking twice, so I really hope that's not their excuse.

That would make a lot of sense to have a BP style stage thing to use as training, maybe it will be an option for it.

That'd be nice. It's kinda discouraging that DmC might be the first in the franchise to have options in a BP like setting.

Oh wait, DMC4 has debug mode + Bloody Palace on the PC. Herp derp.

No but seriously, they need to include it. There's no reason not to include BP for free at least.
Forget DLC. If they even put Bloody Palace as DLC, that's just slapping the fans in the face imo. It's basically another reason to pay more money for a game that originally should have cost about $60 bucks.

This is Capcom we're talking about...
Though, I don't they want to tarnish their reputation more.
It seems as of late that when they release on-disk downloadable content, it's free.
So, if Bloody Palace is only available via download, here's hoping we receive it with no charge.

HAHA, the effect does look great! I just wish it tracked the opponent in the air :(
Yeah I get what you mean. I thought that it would work like that in the demo when I first got it. You can control the direction of the BAMF but if they had it like Trickster style where you could move along the Y axis (AAAAH I'm GETTING FANCY NOW BISHES!) of the game then that'd be handy. It's actually a function I wish it had also instead of teleporting/bamf-ing at the same level. Another feature we could've had, but until the full game comes out, we might get one.
'might' being the keyword there...

I believe they let Dante without a trickster teleport to give it to Vergil, since he doesn't have Angel Lift.

EDIT: Duuuude, GREAT timing with the just release of the Ricoshot in your "GLIDE, MOTHERFUCKER, GLIDE" video.

That's really unfortunate. :(
Especially when I was so close to FINALLY being able to practice with DMC4 on turbo :/ ahh well my laptops fine so I can still 'internet' so to speak.

The execution is weird on that to me since he doesn't just teleport, he has to follow his summoned sword. To me that just seems a bit pointless to add, it's not like it makes more sense that way. And an instant teleport would make the game faster ever so slightly, which would be really nice.

Just thought, in Vergils DLC would BP/training (If he does get it) be the same? I mean he fights different bosses and enemies doesn't he? Or am I just misinformed.

I'll survive, I won't cancel my preorder or anything, but it's ridiculous how they hinted it would be in (even saying as much as it would have a different name) and then NOTHING.

Alex Jones has spread misinformation about this game before, like saying that there are 2 dodge buttons because one of them is angel dodge and the other demon dodge, but that was just too much.

I wasn't hating on them after the DLC reveal because they made themselves very clear that there would be no Vergil for the game, so even as DLC I as happy that we'd get Vergil. They didn't made us believe that we would be able to play him in the regular game. Darksiders II has its own Bloody Palace and nobody asked for it, in this game everyone begged them for that and they went as far as hinting for it, and we're not getting it.

I'll gladly be an idiot and support this abusive behavior if they release it as DLC though, so I'm part of the problem.
you know it would be somewhat ****ty if itends up being DLC but tobe honest i would gladly pay for it just because i know its what would push me past 100 to 150+ as it did for me with DMC4. and about alex jones i just think in that case he meant to say there is two dodge buttons so you can dodge comfortably from both angel and demon mode, i think he just misspoke in that instance.

I want the stages to change like limbo changes. second, I would like the option to choose a time attack, survival, and style progression. third. I want the first three waves to be set at random. just so it never feels stale. DmC has a lot of environmental. kills so why not have huge stages, multi levels and huge pieces of the floor missing, and, there's more, HUGE fan blades and trains scattered all over the place

and yea a boss here and there...

And don't forget the classic "Ten Thousand Floors" mode.

only Ten Thousand?

DMC3 had like .............A lot of floors

I think the Bloody Palace maybe DLC but it could be worked on just as much as Vergils Downfall. It might be like the Lilith's crazy game show, but drug out to last around like 3 hours. Worth about 5 bucks if you think about it. I mean it took 2 years to figure out Dantes hair cut:P So i guess in 3 months they could put together the biggest survival mode. Sure the other games had bloody palace to and it was FREE!! but i would honestly would have rather bought DMC4's bloody palace (with the option to turn the timer off) over DMC4

I hate that goddamn timer... Makes me feel pressured and then I always screw up. :/

And yeah, DMC2 had 9999 floors (but the 9999th floor repeated endlessly) and DMC3 has 10000 floors, starting from Level 0 and going up to Level 9999, the battle with Vergil 3 on DMD mode. But you had the choice to go up one, ten, or one hundred levels on each beaten floor. Going up one gave you a green orb, going up ten gave you a white orb and going up a hundred gave you nothing but air. In DMC3, though. In 2, you got diddly no matter how many floors you went up...

DMC3's Bloody palace is always fun to play. DMC2 had big stages but nothing was in it, and keeping your style up in that game was a bitch for me.
