I dno about you guys but how cool would bloody palace be if it was co op . One play as dante the other vergil . Having the option to play with my bro or a friend would be sweet.

^ Pardon his rudeness, bit hypocritical.
I think it would be a good idea..but how bout instead each player plays through ten rounds ^^ They spectate each other, take turns and within those rounds they try to make more points than the other co-op partner.
Player 1 = 10 rounds while Player 2 watches.
Player 2 = Same 10 rounds while Player 1 watches.
Not a bad idea at all, just needs some tuning so it doesn't break the game.

That sounds preety cool to me :)

Ye maybe. Wishful thinking eii . Ill be happy as long as DmC keeps going and we get plenty more vergil and dante :)

These are just some of the games that shouldn't have a multiplayer feature unless they put a score match where you would both fight demons and who ever has the best score wins .... It would be cool to fight each other I don't know why it would seem fun

it would be cool if this game wasn't Devil may cry where all the animations and attacks literally contradict co-op gameplay

While certain animations would lead to confusion, Co-op Bloody Palace may be more simple to implement than you think.
Imagine this;

2 players, each with their own Palace platforms. Dante can look to the right and see Vergil across the way, and vice versa. In order to advance up the floors, both players must dispatch all waves of enemies. If a player is killed, that player's current wave of enemies is added to the surviving player's waves, allowing him to continue on alone.

That sounds like a good idea. Would this be done with a split screen? Also as an alternative take, what about just transferring killed enemies to the other player's platform and then whoever survives wins.

that works, i'd prefer a competitive mode where players take turns on each floor

I would actually be more nice to have a PvP already. It's basically a boss battle in terms of combat mechanics, minus the boss patterns.

I've been wanting a DMC game to have co-op since playing DMC3 and having to take turns with my younger brother. We would purposely die on mission 19 just so one of us could play as Vergil and we would have the co-op we really wanted. So yes, I really would love a co-op mode for Bloody Palace :)

Both I would imagine, either through split-screen or online connectivity, which would be even better as both players would have their full screen.

Possibly, but with enough fodder giving each player very little challenge, it may elongate the session too much.

What about a 'Help Me out' function, where if You've finished your set of enemies, but see your buddy still fighting, You can opt to hop over and help them dispatch their enemies, and then be transported back for the next floor to begin.

It'll never happen as DmC has always been strictly single-player, and I would rather it stay that way, but Co-Op Bloddy Palace has intrigued Me.

Ever since DMC3 allowed Co-op with doppelganger with the help of Super Dante costume we would always team up on DmD when we got bored of watching each other play different styles.

Due to online connectivity now a days with this new game it was also a thought of mine from the start. Just make it like 4 or 5 times the difficulty if you are going to have 2 people working together. It would work best, I think, if you could just partner up with a friend on steam or have a lobby with rooms you can join or spectate.
