Behind the Scenes w/ the 1st Performance Capture Vid!

Very good video's and also very sharp to note the pic of his hair. This game gets me pumped every time!! And i really liked the fight with the sea demon to. He reminds me of berial and beowulf alot and those were bosses that i really liked in previous dmc games. Funny that the demon uses some kind of knife sword thing though but he still looks pretty easy to me. I also got my own kinda theory about the DT. I think that dante in the first few missions gets like a burst of the dt. Like naruto sometimes getting access to the kyuubi when he gets more angry. I think that when dante his emotions get more intense he will enter this mode for the first time and it's only a slim moment of him turning into the old dante. Also in the mission against lilith we can see that his hair is turning white, meaning that his demon blood seem to get the hold of him make him hair more permanently white resulting in making him more look like the old dante. Though i still prefer if they keep the NT hair style. Anyways i can not wait for this game!! Sorry if my English isn't that good, but i am dutch and i try :P

I'm likely in the minority here but I actually believe his hair only appears white due to the lighting and video quality. The parts of Dante's hair that aren't shaven have a Dark Raven sleek to them, as though it were constantly wet. As a comparison, look at his left arm and how his jacket is the same grey colour because of how the lights from the roof and floor are hitting it.

5:49 , i'm actually surprised nobody noticed, Dante starts getting white spots on his hair in this mission, and from the picture you posted, Sir. he will get the full white hair before fighting the naked bitch. Hell yeah!! Black Hair < White Hair

I know he looks better with the black hair and more real than the old Dante look, but hey, it's the white hair, we can't say no to that?

He also has that same spot of white hair in the Bob Barbas level.
NT seriously mixed up when this actually happens to keep it a secret so it will remain a mystery until we actually see the full game.

I know, right? when they played the demo. the guy said he can't show us more footages of the mission, he didn't want to show Dante's gettin the white hair. Don't we all look stupids how in the first trailer never thought that Dante going to get the white hair? and he gets it in the middle of DmC which is awesome so haters stop hatin. I have no problems with the hair colour, bu some people do and this should calm their tits down.

White hair? he gets it in the middle of DmC
Slow Gameplay? Wait for the PC version... Doesn't have a good PC to play games on? Thats your problem Mr.Hater, Either enjoy the game on the consoles or GTFO.

It's not much of a secret when the white patch of hair was visible in the announcement trailer...

(Excuse the the condescension, I originally made this image in an argument when someone said NT only gave him white hair later on to stop people from complaining, even though it was obviously planned from the start).

And that's why artwork like this and this have that white patch so prominently. There's also an early interview with Alex Jones saying "there was like a 400 page thread on the forums about how his hair wasn't white, when there's a patch of white clearly visible in his hair." (I can't find the video anymore >_<)

I do not believe for a second that Dante will get completely white hair in the nightclub, given the other footage I've seen after than, and they haven't really don any "placeholder" stuff with the cutscenes at all.

Him getting his completely white hair is most likely done in the finale, upon gaining full control over his abilities. Heck, he might even make a comment about how good the red coat looks :P

white hair is fine its just unlike the old dante the skin is to dark so it just looks weird. now if thats a wig alt then they must love backlash cuz it makes it a joke more then a throw back over all redesign the hair cut

Like they say not all publicity is good publicity. I'd say its going to be hard to tell how well the game will sell. I don't think it will sell around COD or GOW levels (no dude bros), but it could sell around DMC4 levels. Capcom doesn't even expect super great sales. I wonder in the end how much its costing Capcom for DmC development, as in how many games do they need to sell to break even.

well they are 3 years into development and you have to recember they are doing all their fancy mo cap stuff to. When heavenly sword broke a mil units i believe ninja said even a mil wasent enough to break even on fancy mo cap costs. I'm guessing 1.5 to 2 mil is required to break even here. (though im pulling the 1.5 2 mil numbers out of my ass as i have no idea how much the publicity stuff and 3 years of development normally costs as it is)

and actually its the opposite "they" say all publicity is good publicity. You have to remember the majority of gamers don't actually go on forums, keep up with news videos etc etc. 90 percent of gamers won't care if tameem says that old dante is campy. All they have to worry about is getting that 90 percent to SEE the game and fans of the old series screaming only helps people learn about it. All the fans who are screaming and people like us on this forum just the ten percent.

Did no one else find it weird that Lilith was inflating at around the introduction as a transformation? It might not be her turning into a demon but rather... Could be the sex scene we've heard so much about.

Inflating???

Dude, the part where Mundus grunts and she is obviously the sex scene. I don't think there would be doubts about that.

As someone who adores acting in general I have to say they really seem to be getting fantastic actors for this game! I just hope NT don't go broke paying for high quality actors!!
