When ever I try to accept a friend invite or view my mail on Youtube it says that.

Your best bet would be to check your setting, if your account allows Friends etc etc, have you valiadated your email?

Otherthan that, try re-registering and see if it sorts itself out YouTube's a bit of a gray area for me thou
