So you belive that the studios owe the fans nothing? Not loyalty, or explenations, or a relationship beyond merchant and cosumer? So it only goes as far as 'we make products, take 'em or leave them.'

Oh no, it's more than just that. But that still doesn't mean they owe us anything, and we don't owe them anything either. I don't owe my friends anything, and they don't owe me, yet we have a nice and close relationship together.

^^when DMC1 came out i dont think they cared what the fans were thinking, they were just figuring out new, fun, and fast way to play and added a pretty open and interesting world. After that, capcom wasn't required to make anything after that. But it just so happened that dmc is an awesome franchise and has millions of fans, ready to spend money on the next game. The only thing Capcom would need to owe the fans, is the proper time and freedom to create another new fun fast way to play a video game.
I think of video games kind of like how i listen to music because i have no clue how to or can control what music i want my favorite band to create. But i still buy the album and try to listen and experience something new because i like my bands to progress and try new things.
but like i said before, i dont expect capcom to give me anything except a video game. Its nice it they show trailers for the game and gameplay but i won't truly have an honest opinion about the game until i play it.
Most of the gameplay trailers have been in the works anyways so what i think we'll see in the next trailer is the cleanest controls they've got and a more experienced player creating more combos with a little bit of a story. If they even show anything from the story anyways because it seems to play a huge part this time, so why spoil it.

DMC 1 is the first game. There were NO fans when DMC 1 game was under development. AfteR DMC was released and played people became fans of it.

Like how can there be fans of a game that people haven't played?
