I'd say universal's Dark Universe is more DOA than DCEU. DCEU is still salvageable, they just have to settle for being #2.

I kinda feel bad for Ben Affleck. In the early 2000s, people were associating him with sh#tflicks such as Gigli and Daredevil and he got a bad rep due to them. Then suddenly he gets back on track - drops directorial gems like Gone Baby Gone, The Town, Argo. Until one fateful day when he gets approached by Zack Snyder to play Batman, takes a peek at the guy's canon of work and thinks to himself "Yeah, this can't fail"

@Teal what? his Batman was probably one of the best things he's done in BvS and what little he had in SS. However it was JL that really brought him down. That and his Live by Night movie.
