Well yeah... At least clean populations do, I guess. That is why bidets exist. It baffles me that there actually are people who think just paper does as good of a job, that sounds gross.

Like, think about it. The notion of washing much cleaner parts of the human body like the hands is worldwide recognized as normal, but washing the hole where fecal matter passes through is not. That sounds mental to me.
