While I totally get what you mean, you could've picked a better way of wording that. Without any context it just sounds like you're angry that black actors are in the cast lol.

Well I trust people here know me enough and have followed my posts enough to have the common sense to understand that it's not a matter of hating black actors per se or being racist, it's a matter of the showrunner breaking her promise of keeping the show faithful to the source material with no PC culture stuff invading it.

You do know that everything does this these days to be diverse and to avoid people screaming about racism. It’s just one of those rather sad and unfortunate things.

Funny how no one assumes that the black cast member was simply the best actress out of all the ones that auditioned. It just HAS to be a political agenda. And the reason roles for "explicitly Black/Asian/Minority" characters get cast with white people despite whites being a global minority is because... why exactly?

Any case of "race washing" (be it white washing, black, yellow, whatever) is either a political or a marketing/business choice (depending on whether or not the actor's name is well known), let's not be naive. I don't believe for a single second that whenever these choices are made, there is never ANY actor of the race the character is supposed to be who's good enough to play the role.
