That scene makes sense once you realize something similar happened in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Dude just has a hard time processing loss.

Perhaps, but you know what they say: "To err is human". It's easy to cast dispersions when you're on the outside looking in, but being *in* his situation? Who knows what any of us would do under those circumstances. Yeah, it's frustrating to watch a character **** up, but it's also completely authentic and realistic, too. Just my two cents.
