I mean, I don't plan to see it and my interest for Star Wars has kinda died down completely but I still find events like this hella hilarious.

I mean, that didn't exactly happen with TFA or R1...so I have to wonder just how many of those reviews are fake. You don't just fabricate the lowest audience score since Attack of the Clones.

It's just so weird, if you dislike someting then sure that's fine but doing this type of manipulation makes it feel like you just *want* to hate it.

The low audience score by itself I can get, The Last Jedi is a good example of a love-it-or-hate-it film it seems. If some people did end up using alt accounts or bots though, that's stupid.

@DDutchguy But that same kind of love-it-or-hate-it divide existed with Force Awakens as well, and the audience scoring was miles better. That can either mean more people are motivated this time around to make alt-accounts and trash the film, or the bulk of these reviews are legitimate verbalization of people disliking the film.

That's actually not a bad point Wolf. To me it always seemed like The Force Awakens was disliked more in hindsight, because there was so much initial hype to it where people would go "Yeah I loved the movie!", but after thinking about it a bit they'd think "Wait but did I actually love it?" once the hype settled down.
