It just looks so cartoony to me. One guy even said that it looks like it should, "lean like a marathon runner". I'm like, are you kidding? Lean? That big pile of CGI muscles? Is there some other Van Helsing movie I haven't seen or...?

Yeah that one. Not sure it was meant to be scary, movie was more action/adventure than horror but still cartoony nonetheless.

You know when he fights Dracula, and scratches the wall with his claws, and shows them to him? Watch that, and tell me if you don't feel like the WB logo with Bugs Bunny is about to pop up any moment.

I certainly like the design, it looks more like what a werewolf should to me then a lot of other movies (looking at harry potter 3....), it's not a serious movie that's for sure.

I think they look cool. But then, my only basis for comparison are the flat-snouted Lycans from Underworld. And it CERTAINLY doesn't help that there aren't enough werewolf movies in Hollywood to begin with.
