Ah, well. Different strokes for different people. But I suppose it's better to be indifferent towards a game series two games in than to build unbridled hatred for a series six games into the series, like I did with MGS.

I mean, I ain't COMPLETELY put off by it, I guess I'll play it in short sessions.

I think the problem is that, I'm not much of a stealth game guy, unless it's Splinter Cell. And MD, despite offering me multiple ways to play, clearly favors stealth over anything else.

So I'll just try and say screw it, I'll play it more action-y, mixing the two styles instead of going pure stealth.

I play Deus Ex purely in stealth, but only in non-lethal Ghost runs. That actually makes the game a million times harder, especially on Give Me Deus Ex difficulty. Lethal solutions just cheapen the experience for me, tbh. There's a far more tactical edge to Splinter Cell, though, since that's exclusively a stealth game as opposed to an RPG.
