Basically explaining how Luke thought of his nephew as his own chosen one. Not that he was destined to save the galaxy or bring balance to the force.
But saw him as a prodigy, a possible successor, someone to take over after Luke, and lead the Jedi Order in a new age.

I thought to myself "Okay cool, so when Ben Solo became Kylo Ren, not only was it his own nephew that betrayed him. But also all his hopes for the future came crumbling down"
....Then I check out the comments and like 98% of them were people who clearly didn't even watch the video going "Wtf, Anakin is the chosen one! F@#k Disney, they're ruining Star Wars!"....People are dumb

I mean...Luke Skywalker failing with one of his students in the belief that they'll be the next great inheritor of the Skywalker bloodline is nothing new for Star Wars. It's been done before with a character identical to Kylo, except written better & without 99% of the whining or cringey dialogue. That's MY reason for hating Kylo Ren. He's a terrible knock-off, portrayed in a terrible story by a terrible actor.

I know all about Jacen Solo. My point is, nobody even bothered to watch the video before they ranted. And Kylo Ren is not whiny. I will let everything else go as your opinion. But that one has like no evidence

Doing whining and having a whiny personality are two very different things. Kylo does a lot of the former, but a lot of it comes from, as Timothy Zahn rightly states, "having too many buttons that seemingly anyone can press."

A lot of people couldn't stand him after he took off his helmet, but personally, I couldn't stand him well before that scene happened. Even Sith Apprentices like Darth Maul & Asajj Ventress, or even the Inquisitors command a more level-headed presence than Kylo does...and they're galactic henchmen.

And Kylo Ren's an emotionally unstable dark side user with a temper. It's ridiculous how these people are now so forgiving towards "He's holding me back" Christensen

I was always a bigger fan of Matt Lanter's portrayal of Anakin over Christiansen, but at least Anakin's tantrums never got to the point where he was destroying a keyboard like a rabid chimp, or an entire electrical room. Besides, being a Dark Side user MEANS showing too much emotion...numerous Sith characters already do it.

They just don't do it over medial things, and they express it in less of a juvenile fashion. He just comes off like a spoiled kid more than a figure of menace, impressively moreso than Anakin. And that's QUITE an accomplishment.
