It's easy to talk smack when the sheer thought of uber-cutsey anime is enough to turn your stomach over like a log in a stream. I like cute characters, but not when the entire show is centered around them and their "kawaii" antics. Like imagine if Hellsing was about Seras and her comedic moments exclusively..that's what 99% of anime is nowadays.

Sweetness & Lightning isn't about "kawaii" antics though. It's about a single father struggling to connect with his daughter. Upon a suggestion from one of his students, he tries cooking with her and so starts a simple yet heartwarming story.

I'm also looking forward to "91 Days" which is basically The Godfather: The Anime.

I guess the art style and format of the trailer didn't give me that impression. I am looking forward to 91 Days as well.

A word of warning though, "Joker Game" is extremely episodic with the only recurring characters are the spies from the "D-Agency". That apparently turned a lot of people off.
