She probably bowed down to the majority opinion. Popularity is the lifeline of a youtuber. I remember that guy Tyrone Magnus saying a lot of people unsubscribed because he said he liked BvS more than Civil War.

Ah, that one. Actually I saw that video and I recall she meant that yeah she liked BvS but she was making a speech about not what she'd want/like but about what would be good for WB/DC business wise, and business wise she feels many people won't give future films a chance if Snyder keeps directing them so in that sense he needs to go.

People really hate Snyder nowadays for the most asinine reasons.

I don't think so. At least when it comes to BvS. He did make kind of a mess there. True there are many haters who just hate for the sake of it but there are also people who have legit criticism like AJ and NC in their review.

Speaking of which, I still haven't gotten around to watching BvS. I must do that sometime.

@Foxtrot94 but for AJ and NC, those for the most part boil down to them complaining about how Batman wasn't like this or Superman wasn't "hopeful" and not really getting why Lex does what he does. Yeah the movie had hiccups, but because it didn't play out like the heroes they wanted them to be.

Not true, most of the criticism was about how parts of the narrative and aspects of the characters (on their own, not only in relation to how they wanted them to be) don't make sense and don't work. That's why their review is among the most credible ones.

Like why Batman fought Superman and why Lex created Doomsday?

Well when it boils down to it, it's all just opinions. People think Zack Snyder is a hack, meanwhile, I've actually liked most of his movies. Including BvS despite it's hiccups. Sucker Punch was neat, Watchmen was impressive, and MOS was great.

Indeed, I didn't watch Man of Steel for ages because all I heard about it was terrible things. Then I actually watched it and I thought it was great.

I don't think he's a hack, but he's inconsistent. He can pull off awesome stuff like Watchmen and then he can do messes like BvS. That's why I am also in agreement that WB needs another director to move their universe forward, they can't afford pto take risks like this. He can shoot the fight scenes though. He's great at it, the action was the best part of MOS and BvS.

I mean, dat DBZ awesomeness in MOS and DAT BATMAN in BvS, man.

BvS critic response=/= replace Snyder. I would understand if the movie did horrible in the box office, but it made close to 900 million. With that in mind, I don't see WB replacing Snyder. Plus, WB is director-driven, so WB has no jurisdiction in replacing directors unless a movie did seriously bad. Maybe with Ben Affleck and Chris Terrio on the helm things will work itself out.

Yeah I do got hopes for that Batman movie. But at this point, not so much for anything Snyder will direct.
