Lotta people credit X-Men or Spider-Man for the modern comic book movie boom.
But never forget, Blade was Marvel's first film success.
Can't wait for the day they finally bring him to the MCU
I was about to say. Nostalgia Critic reviewing Blade as a bad movie was gonna set me off, but luckily he felt the same way I did. I hope for the day we see Blade again in a darker part of MCU because I don't see him fitting with the Avengers.
Good luck with that, Dragon. Disney owns Marvel Studios. With them in charge, a violent and gory movie like Blade has little chance to see the light. Unfortunately.
Actually Foxy, a script is being worked on. And Disney just distributes the movies and gets a cut of the profit.
Other then that, Marvel does whatever they want.
Looking at how brutal the DareDevil series can be sometimes, I don't really think that's something to worry about Fox, and Punisher is getting his own series as well, that's something where they can't shy away from dark and brutal anyway.
