That's a bold claim, since I thought the original was about as pristine as DMC was ever going to get. I'll definitely voice my opinion in a thread, or something, once I've played enough.

Well, considering Nero and Dante play exactly like they used to and the addition of Vergil, Lady and Trish makes the gameplay content skyrocket, it's a safe bet to say it's an improvement.

i played the game on my friend's console, and i think it's more responsive and fluid and i'm not disoriented with direction anymore, is it just me or is it placebo?

Absolutely placebo. No changes were made to how the inputs work as far as I know. What you're experiencing now with Dante and Nero was already there in vanilla.

It's too early to tell, and I'm playing on Human Difficulty just to get all the Proud Souls...but so far, it's a blast. I haven't clutched a controller this hard since Smash 4's launch day.
