Vergil was in Fortuna over a decade ago. That can be any number between 11 and 19. Nero looks to be between mid to late teens. We also don't know when was Nero conceived, or how old Vergil was at that point. In SE he certainly looks old enough to make babies. All in all, more questions than answers.

A boy in his 11 or 12 can sire a child, if he produces viable sperm.We don't know too how much time V spent in Fortuna nor I believe Capcom knows the answer, since DMC4se doesn't follow the novel.
