I love them as I love Physically Based Shading in general. The Witcher and Batman are especially good examples because, not only is the rendering technology great, but the artists actually care about utilizing its potential.
So yeah, I'm totally digging it and I'm gonna' play the Hell out of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, constantly being distracted from the plot by the visuals. It's gonna' be great.
Having said that, just imagine how much I want an Itsuno-directed DMC 5. If they could achieve DMC 4's quality in 2008, just imagine what his team could do now. They could easily reach the quality of DMC 3's CG renders.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Japanese guys are pulling off some pretty impressive stuff, think of FF15.
The most impressive thing about TW3 to me is that all that graphical goodness comes with a MASSIVE world (I dunno if you checked previews but only 1 region of the 3 available is as big as Skyrim it seems) and without any load screen!
