Yup, my series is a fail. What can I say?

It was an absolute flop, Erian. What more can I say?

I mean in general... every time a fan asks him info about Dante or the game in general, any kind of info, he either trolls or is sarcastic, or makes fun of said fan by giving ironic answers.

I mean can you blame him? He only made one game of the series and all the backstory of the first novel got thrown out the window, I think he wouldn't know more about the games than fans do nowadays.
But then again, he could simply tell people in an acceptable manner right?

I gather Kamiya is pretty insane by now from all the questions of people not realizing he worked on just the first game. XD

But he even refuses to give info of DMC1, the game he himself made. I can understand when people ask about the other three games, but DMC1? Come on man, they're asking about your own game, grow up already.

Like Erian up there said, he probably doesn't know what is canon anymore and what isn't, and he probably doesn't want to accidentally cause confusion by saying wrong thing. Also, Kamiya is by now kinda legendary for his trolling on twitter.

Maybe but I don't buy it. I think he is just still butthurt. Doesn't mean he has to make fun of fans though.

Some of his fans can ask really stupid questions, or the same ones repeatedly. That's mainly where he gets snarky.

DMC's Lore has been handed to too many writers, all with different agendas, ideas, and canonical insertions. People often screech about the reboot, but had more narrative consistency at the very least.

True, too many writers in DMC, but DmC has its number of inconsistencies, weak plot devices and "dafaq?"s in its story too.

Either way, Kamiya's attitude is childish to me. If you see fans repeating same question over n over, just don't reply. Instead of giving sarcastic replies that some people can actually believe as if you're talking seriously.

Well to me you could say that about any story. Nothing is perfect after all. But I see your point about DMC.

Maybe Kamiya is taking the only stance you CAN take when discussing someone as absurdly OP and fantastical as Dante: a childish one. Even HE never took Dante as seriously as the fanbase does...and it's HIS creation.
