I'll never buy Ground Zeros as it is a blatant cash grab and an insult to gamers' intelligence, but Phantom Pain is for PC as well, so no problems with that one.

I think I'll start with MGS3.

Fox man ground zeroes is fantastic and with the price it is now it is worth it , people say it is a demo nut haven't played it the replay alone and getting 100% completion on top of 7 missions and trials to complete and leaderboards make it a short game not a demo bit it is up to you however you will lose out on info amd fun by not playimg it

It was a joke for 40 bucks back then, people say it's a demo as a joke to express their disdain for a short as hell game sold for that price, and let's admit it, they were right. Especially considering that PP is probably gonna come out on PC for just 10 euros more than GZ's initial price.

I could pick it up at the current price, but I don't see why since I already got plenty of other MGS games to play and PP will come out soon. As for the missing information, watching a walkthrough will be enough, given how short GZ is.

it takes a good 10-15 hours to do it all and get 100% completion man that is by no means short amd that is as a good player it takes longer if your average on top of that the way it plays gets you ready for phantom pain as it is much harder to stealth at then previous games , if you just jump into pp without playing gz you will get wrecked man but it is your choice

Gz is a great game short or not and anybody who is an mgs series fan will tell you that but look do what you like lad just don't see how you have such a colored opinion on something that you never had interest in before now , enjoy what you do play sure I won't try to influence you

I liked GZ because of that special mission. Yes its short but it feels more like a VR mission than an actual game.

Dude, I've seen noobish people finishing the campaign in less than 2 hours. If I need to squeeze the game's content by doing absolutely everything there's to do (which I don't normally like to do) to give it value, there's something wrong with it. But maybe I can pick it up now that it's cheap. However it was a "screw you gimme money" at release, and I normally don't support those kinds of games.

I have such a colored opinion cause I'm a consumer, and even if the game didn't interest me, I felt bad for how the fans were treated at its release. But of course the love for MGS blinded them and they came up with the sorriest excuse to defend it. It is dangerous, cause if Konami can get a free pass for that, other companies could take the same route. And that is bad.

We as consumers can't allow such business practices.

The campaign is one mission , there are 7 and you have to beat em on 2 difficulties each to get the achievements, on hard it is way harder due to being seen way easier and having less equipment and bullets

on top of that there are trials to complete and tapes to get and other stuff

anyway I am not gona talk about it anymore you are set in your thoughts about it so il leave it at that have a nice day

As for it being so short it was a rip off I have completed full games in shorter time than it takes to clear all of ground zeroes
Foxtrot94
Foxtrot94
I understand what you're saying but man. Getting the achievements, completing all the difficulties are self imposed challenges and can't be taken into account to justify its initial 40 bucks price. I hope other companies won't follow Konami's example, cause otherwise we are screwed. I think we can at least agree on THAT.
Foxtrot94
Foxtrot94
Yeah there are full games out there that are even less worth their price, but I don't think that's a justification. I mean it's like saying "Hey I'm a thief but you're more thief than me so I'm okay, right?"

There is a rumor that says. Players who load a Ground Zeroes save file into The Phantom Pain will find POW characters that they rescued in the former appearing on Mother Base in the latter in addition to other unique characters as well. They also stated that there will be other perks for loading your save data.

It was 30 euro here a new game is 70 and then they changed the price to 20 I don't see how pauing less than half the amount for half the length is a rip off so I guess il agree to disagree , anyway I have said enoigh on it now so I will leave it there good day

Why, you think that PP will be only double the length of GZ? From what I've seen of it, being open world etc, it looks way longer than that, and most likely of the same quality. For probably 50 bucks on PC, which is just 10 more than GZ's initial price. Now THAT is a good deal.

That whole carrying over saved data thing is interesting, you sure it's a rumor? Or is it confirmed?

Well from what i've been reading Its a rumor that Konami outright stated is true.
