You looked like you were walking on the edge, so I thought of giving you a push. ;) Have fun!

Just a shame I can't play MGS4, coz I don't have a PS3.

Well at least you have tons of other Metal Gear goodness to keep you busy, they are overflowing with activity and little things to discover. For example in MGS2 you can collect dog tags of soldiers you hold up and each difficulty has different set of names.

I know there are also MGS games for PSP, and I have a PSP. Would you suggest starting with one of those?

Erhm, you're better off asking Geoff about anything past MGS2, I could only keep up with reading the story on net. Peace Walker looks like an awesome game, but story-wise it will be confusing in certain parts without MGS3. Personally I'd recommend playing them in order they were published.

Peaxe walker is fantastic , start with the timeline order MGS3 , then do portable ops followed by peacewalker and then ground zeroes. Then if you feel like it pick up the new game phantom pain and play the nes games which are both on the hd collection and finally play mgs1 mgs2 and as for mgs4 I dunno what you can do but the rest can all be got in the hd collection for xbox

except portable ops , you can get gz for xbox too

I really believe after playing just one that you will love Mgs it has a massive universe with loads of cool characters and a compelling story
