Why not get the PC release?
I don't think the game will take heavier specs than the old release and I could play it on my old machine which was 5 years old.

It is indeed buttery smooth on PC. Heck, I could even run it on my laptop's integrated graphics card.

The only thing about playing on PC that is not really optimal is that (in my case) I can not relax on the couch while playing, but then again, I'm not able to do that while playing consoles either XD
