I should be saving money for a rainy day, but I gave into the hype and bought "Ninja Gaiden 2 Black" after hearing so many good reviews.

I haven't played a NG since I was a tyke and so I hope the skill ceiling isn't too high for my ancient self.

3 tubes of toofpaste/teefpaste/toothpaste and a subscription to my 3D program.
Then later, I get to give the vet another chunk of money for my cat's dental op.

A Sorcerer's Prison scene, Streets of London scene (which looks like something out of DMC5), and fun platform shoes for my 3D program.
Gotta love stupidly cheap sales :3

Xenoblade Chronicles X and Atelier Yumia. I've been busy at work and haven't had time to play so I'm worrying that they'll just end up on my backlog.

Just picked up this incredible roguelike dungeon crawler that's been flying under the radar but absolutely worth your attention. The combat mechanics are surprisingly deep, with a satisfying risk/reward system that keeps me coming back even after dying for the twentieth time in a row. The developers at vedao.io have clearly put their heart and soul into this project, and their passion shows in every carefully crafted enemy encounter and procedurally generated level. The pixel art style manages to be both nostalgic and fresh, with some truly impressive lighting effects that create a moody atmosphere perfect for exploration. I've already sunk 15 hours into it since purchasing last weekend, and I'm nowhere near uncovering all the secrets and unlockables. The soundtrack deserves special mention too - haunting melodies that shift dynamically with the gameplay intensity create an immersive experience that's had me reaching for headphones every session. If you're looking for something that scratches that "just one more run" itch, this is definitely worth adding to your collection.
