If Capcom decides to go back to the original series...

That's actually why I dislike playing him over Dante. He's too simple that sometimes it's boring. There's nothing to get my creativity flowing.

    DmC's cons and fails

That's instinct for most players. The fact that it didn't work means something is wrong with the code.

    DmC's cons and fails

Hate to just sound like a jerk, but the soft lock on doesn't work well at all. There are a great deal of bugs. Friend of mine showed off a rather huge one.

    Favorite Truestylers?

So I'm still pretty new, and was kind of wondering who you guys enjoy watching play DMC? I'm a pretty damn big fan of Brea myself. They're the one who inspired me to start learning DMC's core mechanics which ended up giving me my interest in Game Design in the first place. This video is one...

If Capcom decides to go back to the original series...

If they make a DMC5, I'd rather they finish the gameplay they were going for in 4. Give Dante the moves they didn't have time to give him, add more weapons. Maybe give Nero some more options to play with two. He was fun, but I felt like he could have had more. Basically just more weapons and...

    DmC's cons and fails

Those are all things you like about the game. None of those are downsides.

I can admit that's true, but it has more moves overall. There's also more factors to consider than in 4 and the reboot. For example, enemy weaknesses.

If you could remake Devil May Cry 2...

Nerf gun damage, and add more options with the sword.

Oh sweet jesus that is much better. Thank you very much.

If you honestly think this you haven't played enough DMC3. DMC3 is a very versatile game. In fact, 4 has LESS options overall than 3. Crazy combos, a lot of each styles powers, and less overall weapons. The style switching on the fly just gives you the feeling of more options.

SO i keep hearing people say that the new dmc is short, but...

You're also posting high level players people who are doing walkthroughs. That'll teach ME to watch only a few seconds of a video. Most people take about 8-10 hours to beat DMC3 the first time.

    Henshin a HELLO, BABY!

Heya! Just like making introduction threads. My name's Viewtiful, and I'll be your resident Joe fan. I honestly might not post very much because I dislike the traditional forum layout, and, as politely as I can without starting a flame war, looking at New Dante's face gives me a headache...

SO i keep hearing people say that the new dmc is short, but...

The thrill of Devil May Cry isn't its gameplay length. It's the desire to go back and master the controls. Not to beat the game, but to completely master it. Something that you can do in about 3 hours in the new game.

To elaborate on this in a way that might make sense to some people. In DMC3, Quicksilver has a startup animation of about 140 Frames. That's about 2.2 seconds. This entire startup is completely invincible. 2 seconds of invincibility doesn't sound like a lot, but if you replay DMC3 and time...
