  • But if you look at it theoretically... That is most likely the truth. Even Mundus can't just clone a human using just demonic power. It wouldn't make sense... In all DMC related issues with power, it is blood that is also needed.
Nah, we need more music - nothing beats music and those with the talent for it should share it with others :D
See what fits - try it out with all girls, then all guys then a mix of the two. I always wanted an all-male band but when it came down to it, we had a second female singer and a girl on keyboards and it worked really really well with the four other guys in the band. What you don't want is a group of egos refusing to back down and trying to be in charge all the time. It has to be a team effort or not at all - it won't work if there's a power struggle going on.

Just do a bit of trial and error - test each dynamic and see who brings what to the group. So long as you can get along 98% of the time with whoever winds up with you, it'll work whether it's all guys/girls or a mix
lol - yeah, my parents hate my musical choices. Hell, Steve isn't a big fan of some of the stuff I like

Yeah, that's the grind with winning a comp - you get very little say in what happens to you for at least the first year of the contract and you get even less choice in what you sing. I prefer being in a band myself writing my own stuff and jamming until we find that perfect something to work from.

Have you considered forming a band yourself?
Any way you can get transport or spend some time near to an audition site? Be a shame to miss the opportunity - especially if you have what it takes.

I sing all the time too - bugs the hell out of my family
Yes - it sounds more powerful without all the other instruments, to be honest. Musical theatre tends to require a powerful vibrato for much of it but if you can hold back for rock/pop then you're ok - plus a range of muscial styles like that is actually pretty handy for something like Idol because they're going to ask you to do certain things at every stage if you get through.

Practice, get someone who doesn't really know you to critique you and then keep working on it until you audition. So go for it - nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that jazz :D
Amy Lee doesn't use a massive amount of vibrato (at least not on her older stuff - haven't heard anything other than the 1st album) but she has a strong leading voice which holds its tone and pitch well during the longer notes and it's not impossible to control vibrato so that it doesn't make the song too Mariah Carey-ish. I have a lot of vibrato in my voice and have had to train myself to hold back with it when necessary otherwise it can be overkill.

How about singing My Immortal - the album version?
