    Collides... So he seems to forget what's the dream and what's the reality, so he slowly loses himself?

    Maybe his imaginary friend isn't imaginary at all? However, it's a girl who is experiencing the same thing. And through these dreams, they find each other in reality. Too lame? =/

    I like what you have so far. The words are nice. To begin he sees his dreams with his eyes. But he doesn't step into them with his feet. He could explain more so later on that his dreams feel like they are coming alive. And inside his mind, he feels like their is another World waiting for him to explore deeper.

    Oh right, that's awesome. The more help, the merrier ^_^

    If you take my beliefs into play, after he dies he'd go back into his dream world forever anyway, so... Heh. >_<

    That's how it usually works. Although I can't get over how depressing that choice at the end is. >_< Damn my sympathetic nature!

    Hm. In the end he is left with an ultimatum. He either makes a choice to live in his dreams for eternity, never dying. Possibly giving him an eternity, of a realistic, but still dreamt up World. Or he accepts real life, and loses a friend. Accepting death in the end. We could possibly give some reasons as to why he may want to stay in the real World, with his current life. Maybe a love interest or a problematic scenario with a family member. I have yet to think of this. What do you think? =/
