It is a very solid story. It has always been one of my childhood favourites. I don't care what anyone says...but I'm taking it to the grave with me damn it! XP

*clears throat* Long ago, when a majestic fire-breathers soared the skies, there lived a knight who would come face-to-face and heart-to-heart with the most remarkable creature that ever existed-the dragon.

The King went into battle, his son wanted to follow, but the knight wouldn't allow it. The prince disobeyed and followed his father, but was stabbed as he took his crown. All hope seemed lost for the kingdom, until the queen said "no, not all hope is lost." She took him to a dragon where he shared half is heart...after swearing an oath that his fathers blood lust and tyranny died with him. But that is not what happened. Bowen thought the dragon bewitched him, and sought to kill every last dragon until he found the one that shared the heart with the kid.
