    But in a dire situation we haven't experienced our INSTINCTS activate our MIND to think out a solution. That makes us potent to deal with most situations, then with the help of our mind it becomes a reflex.

    So... is animal's instinct really superior?

    Are we dead? No we are not...

    Intelligence is what has contributed into our survival, it has given us more results than something as lacking as instincts. Instincts are great when something sudden happens, but we got the advantage of our mind. We don't need a set pattern to protect ourselves, we've got intelligence and we can plan our moves.

    Humans only threat so far is ourselves. No other living thing can surpass us on the earth. Now tell me, how did we survive when we lacked the skills to survive? Because we didn't. ^_^

    Yeah, since animals has technology. They have computers, emotions, they are on the top of the food chain and does not have to worry about their lifes.

    Cognitive thought, is what came from instinct. It's an evolution of the instict, since animals are closed in as instinct is restrictive to their mind. They can't choose, nor think for themselves since instinct is restricting them. <.<
