Yeah...well that's one of the grand things about GoW actually xD! Ranked Matches have no friendly fire!! You can turn it on during player matches though...most people just do that for the free for all factor though (most)

Exactly...that's probably why most people get angry...but the one's I don't like are the guys that shoot an enemy like one time, and then you come along and kill them with nearly a whole clip of ammo, and the dude that shot only once is like "Dude that was my kill."

"Yeah...because you were working so hard at getting it...with your pistol..."

Now, I can admit to getting a little irked on occasion when someone takes my DOWN in Gears of War...it's like

"I just worked so hard pummeling that guy with my bullets to knock him down, I'm two steps away, and you come along and kill him before I do. Thanks for taking the satisfaction of the FULL kill away. I enjoy stomping people's heads in with my boot."

That's the only time I don't like. The screen even says it "So'n'so x'ed so'n'so"

It's not like any other enemies are around sometimes either xD...it'll just be the guy I knocked down, and then someone will come beat him before I can...and I'll just sit there and think, "But...I wanted to do that...I put in the effort to get him there...but I don't get the prized killing?"

BAHAHA!! I prefer to pair up with one person and cover their backs. I found out that's one of the best ways to kill people in multiplayer. Teamwork. Go figure XD
