Well atleast its Loch and not Kayne.Since Kayne's power is nowhere close to Loch's.But heres an interesting fact,Kayne is actually Merlin's grandson.

Yes,thats correct.That war was started because of due to Merlin's daughter being murdered within the land of dragons,he suspected the dragons were responsible(Which they weren't by the way).This outraged Merlin and made him order some of his best spellcasters to attack the land of dragons.Which there by started a long war.Oh and,the person who murdered Merlin's young daughter was Loch when he was just a young boy.

His real name is Artesei.His name is Asylum because his warlock energy took form in his body and is trapped within his body.Whenever warlock energy takes form,they become extremely powerful and insane.Since Asylums are prisions for insane people and also Artesei has it inprisioned within his body...well yeah.The only ones that didn't call him Asylum are Anathena(Asylum's mother) and Kayne(back when was still Asylum's friend).
