Yarp. You start fighting the ones with the Scythes after you encounter Beelzebubs (I think I spelled that wrong).

You know what...I got mixed up on my Sins...I was thinking Sin Scythes. Use the same strategy for both but be much more careful with the Scythes...and the shotgun will work well against them if you can stay close enough without getting smacked by a random blade flail o_o

Oh...those are fun. No melee attacks unless one of them charges you and misses. If that happens, use a fast hitting melee weapon. Other than that, stick with Ebony and Ivory.
Normally...I simply do a lot of dodging and counter attacking until something dies x_x
