Realism. That's the deal. We want a more realistic RP and super fantasy-like characters aren't the aim.
Look. Ask Devon if using your characters without any powers and NO reference to being non-human would be ok.

Ehhhh........you'd have to change them a lot. I'd rather you didn't change characters you really like just to fit a certain RP. Maybe just see how that new RP you just made works out. Could be just as fun.
