Possibly caving in from the stress of the escape; he uses jokes to mask the fact that he's really freaking out. If the problem isn't addressed quickly he could start to resent the others for being okay with their new lives. You know, institutionalization and all that.
In the character section, he's the boy with dark hair who's biting a Popsicle. Catboy, joker, etc.
Oh yeah, you can walk Anal around the world and learn Anal new abilities. Such as "Anal Cannon" and "Anal reverse".

It works well with many other names too, like "a clown", "an idiot", "a chicken", "a wuss", etc. It's like calling Rinoa's dog for "Anal". xP
