Yah for me it's all about options, so if they somehow give Vergil a ton of options without beowolf than fine. I could ****s with a two handed move set though. My fear is they will be like "V-trigger, Doppleganger, and Concentration makes things complex!" when Dante has the whole kitchen sink...
I mean I highly doubt it, here's the reveal trailer for DMC4:SE where they showed off Lady, Trish, and Vergil with all his weapons. Granted they didn't hype up turbo mode or ldk, but yah:
I know they had like 2 teasers before this, one where Vergil was shown and said "I need more power", and...
Yah it is super disappointing. Itsuno seems to be directing this as well, so you think we'd want at least what we got in 4SE. Hell if we don't get any more weapons for Vergil he might be the most basic version of Vergil yet (https://www.asia.capcom.com/tgs/en/) :
Development team hosts
Matthew...
Nope I think what you see is what you get. There really isn't a reason to hide features when you are 2 months from the game releasing. So basically all we get are:
Playable Vergil with Yamato, V-trigger (I assume this is like Dante's SDT mode), and his regular DT (i know his SDT is the one in...
I don't know how Capcom keeps ****ing up a good thing. I'll excuse the subhuman thing because they handled that well, but man this microtransactions **** is just pr poison. Shows a clear lack of understanding where the market is at the moment regarding mtx, and the DD remaster nor MHW had them...
I think the problem too is at most mtx kind have no effect, or at worst have a completely negative effect on a game. I don't think anyone is happy when they have to use microtransactions out of frustration.
What sucks in this case is that Jim's argument he didn't do a lot of research and was...
Capcom should have followed the trend of not including mtx for upgrades. Spiderman and GoW got great press from doing it, and now DMCV is the next game to get **** on for mtx. I had zero effect on me for DMC4:SE, but just look how much negative press this has generated. Get your **** together...
Well seems like this discussion has grinded to a halt, I was hoping at some point we could get a response from Matt, or Itsuno if there is more to be seen with breaker switching, or why the breaker switching is the way it is (when other games let you switch at will with most things)... We all...
Yah exactly, if Nero doesn't get a DT, or another weapon locking his main new mechanic around this system will suck...
D-pad seems like such an obvious use too, and if it is unused that feels like a waste... Especially when DMC kind of paved the use of d-pad in action games (at least to my...
My hope is there some upgrade or other thing that makes it slightly less painful.. But from interviews sounds like this was Itsuno's whole design philosophy with Nero. Just seems like an odd thing from the guy that gave us on the fly style switching..
I'd at least like to hear that there is...
I feel a lot of people don't realize how limited the breaker switching is now, because they assume you can switch on the fly like DMC4... So that's why there is not a lot of talk about this limiting factor, except by people who have analyzed the details more closely... So when game releases a...
I should have clarified besides picking them up. Because you cant switch this way if your arms are full, and the arm you pick up always becomes the first one. People thought the Reddit guy was saying was that you could switch to another arm without breaking as in cycling between the 4 arms one way.
The dumb thing about this too is it sounds like you can only adjust the order at Nico's van. So in addition to order before the mission, you have to be aware of what order you pick the arms up in the mission... This sounds like a inventory management nightmare that could be addressed super...
