I personally think it's down to Capcom saying they want to make it to what fans want. And in all honesty, most people didn't want a change like this. It draws too far away from the story we're already at. Feeling like we have to start again, scrapping what we liked. Maybe it wasn't great before, but it was still good enough. Change isn't such a bad thing, I agree with you there. But too much change can be a bad thing in some sense. It takes us away from that comfort zone, you know? People just need to wait and ease back into the comfort zone, then it'll be received better.
