  Have you checked your spam or trash area? It could be that the email might be in there and it won't be shifted to your inbox unless you put it there. I've gone into the RE forum as Steve and checked your username and it says awaiting email confirmation - what I've done is verify you manually so ignore the email and do a post now to see if it's working with your usual account.
