    Hmm... I guess they found out another way to program stuff? But the sphere grid works with the usual 255 too.
    I think FFXII's system also has 255 as a maximum, but I've only reached a little bit over 100 with a few stats.

    I got a question that just popped in my mind. What's Insomnia?

    So how much the stat affects with each point is set and can't be changed?

    Then how do they make FFXIII's stat system work when they have such a different stat system?

    But can't they change the difference between each stat point then?
    If it was 127 the stat points could be worth the double and if that other high number it could be balanced on like that.
    If that wouldn't work then maybe they could make weaker/stronger enemies to take on the stat changes.

    But between the three, 256 gives the most balanced variety. Not to little to know the changes and not to much either.
